Description
The Sanwa CD772 is a True-RMS digital multimeter with a 4000-count display and thermocouple temperature measurement capability.
The CD772 is designed for measurements in the CAT II (1000 Volts) and CAT III (600 Volts) ranges. It has an accuracy of 0.5% with an input resolution of 0.1mV for DCV. The instrument has True-RMS capability that allows it to accurately measure AC sine waves that are not pure. The device features a 4000 count, large format display that makes it easy on the eyes, and a backlight for working in low light or dark environment.
Along with voltage, current, frequency, and capacitance measurement, the CD772 can also measure temperature using a K-type thermocouple sensor (-20℃~300℃). The device also features continuity test capability with a buzzer alarm and an LED indicator. The device has an Auto-power save mode that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity.
The device has an overall secure build, it is made using double molding with an outside made of elastic elastomer material, and is according to the IEC61010-1 CAT.III 600V / CAT. II 1000V standards. The test lead pins come with removable pin covers and should be kept covered when measuring in a CAT III environment.
Includes meter, rubber holster, instruction manual, one set of test leads and one K type thermocouple temperature sensor.
